PRESENTATION EVENING AWARDS
Nathan Bingham was in danger of wearing out the carpet through his many trips to the front to pick up his awards at the recent Presentation Evening in the Bournemouth Sports Club House. In addition to his league winners medal with Bmth Sports H (Div 2), he collected 3 Individual Championship winner’s awards (Div 2, Bmth Closed Handicap & Under-13s) as well as sharing in the Farnum Cup for Best Team performance with his team mates from Bmth Sports A. To cap a tremendous evening for 16-year-old Nathan, who hails from Tuckton, he was also awarded the prestigious David Woodcock Trophy for the Most Improved Player of the season. Nathan started off the season in Div 2, where he only lost one game out of fifty, and leapfrogged to the Premier where he achieved a most creditable 60% playing average.

Four of the Associations top players took Gold and Silver medals respectively at the English Table Tennis Association’s League Finals of the JM Rose Bowl (for ladies) and Willmott Cup (for men) at Draycott and Long EatonTable Tennis Centre in Derby.
